Sherri Jones was a wonderful woman. She had a great personality and always had a smile. I adored her so much. She will be greatly missed. It’s hard to believe that someone as selfish as Tucker Strickland could ruin so many lives by taking such a very special person away from us…
We love you Sherri, and we will miss you. May you rest in peace

What is a deputy doing transporting an unstable, psychiatric
inmate alone without back up? You knew the history and yet “someone”
was “complacent” in their job and now Sherri JONES is dead. I am from a long line of law enforcement & military family. The inmate of course is
the “killer” here, but wake up folks, Monday’s and Friday’s
are always the tougher days dealing with these nut case killers.
I am deeply saddened for her family and I am sure law enforcement in your area and throughout are feeling the same way,
yet SHE is the dead officer today. This could have been prevented! Get together and IMPROVE your policies……………….it didn’t have to happen!
